Legislative History of Laws

Law 15-342, the "Omnibus Utility Amendment Act of 2004", was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 15-872 which was referred to the Committee on Public Interest. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on December 7, 2004, and December 21, 2004, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on January 31, 2005, it was assigned Act No. 15-760 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review. D.C. Law 15-342 became effective on April 12, 2005.

Miscellaneous Notes

Short title of subtitle K of title II of Law 16-33: Section 2191 of D.C. Law 16-33 provided that subtitle K of title II of the act may be cited as the Natural Gas Fund Amendment Act of 2005.

Short title: Section 2071 of D.C. Law 16-192 provided that subtitle F of title II of the act may be cited as the "Natural Gas Trust Fund Amendment Act of 2006".

Short title: Section 2081 of D.C. Law 17-20 provided that subtitle I of title II of the act may be cited as the "Natural Gas Trust Fund Amendment Act of 2007".
