The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on December 4, 1984, and December 18, 1984, respectively. Approved without the signature of the Mayor on January 11, 1985, it was assigned Act No. 5-262 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for review.
Law 6-15 was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 6-141, which was referred to the Committee of the Whole. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on May 14, 1985 and May 28, 1985, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on June 7, 1985, it was assigned Act No. 6-30 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review.
Law 9-213, the "Cable Television Communications Act of 1981 Amendment Act of 1992," was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 9-479, which was referred to the Committee on Public Services. Law 14-28, the "Fiscal Year 2002 Budget Support Act of 2001", was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 14-144, which was referred to the Committee Of the Whole. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on May 1, 2001, and June 5, 2001, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on June 29, 2001, it was assigned Act No. 14-85 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review. D.C. Law 14-28 became effective on October 3, 2001.
