Law 3-156, the "District of Columbia Cooperative Association Act of 1980," was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 3-225. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on September 30, 1980 and October 14, 1980, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on November 10, 1980, it was assigned Act No. 3-283 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review.
