Law 5-57, the "District of Columbia Cooperative Housing Association Proportionate Voting Temporary Act of 1983," was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 5-317. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on November 1, 1983, and November 15, 1983, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on November 21, 1983, it was assigned Act No. 5-85 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review.
Law 5-92, the "District of Columbia Cooperative Housing Association Proportionate Voting Act of 1984," was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 5-202, which was referred to the Committee on Housing and Economic Development. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on April 10, 1984, and April 30, 1984, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on May 9, 1984, it was assigned Act No. 5-133 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review.
