Legislative History of Laws

Law 6-74, the "Fiscal Year 1986 Follow-Through Act of 1985," was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 6-206, which was referred to the Committee on Housing and Economic Development. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on July 9, 1985 and October 8, 1985, respectively. Approved without the signature of the Mayor on October 29, 1985, it was assigned Act No. 6-98 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review.

Miscellaneous Notes

Transfer of powers, duties, and responsibilities from Board of Directors of Economic Development Finance Corporation: Section 30(b) of D.C. Law 12-144 provided for the transfer of the powers, duties, and responsibilities of the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Finance Corporation to the Board of Directors of the National Capital Revitalization Corporation, and for the abolition of the Board of Directors of the Economic Development Finance Corporation.
